Retrofitting of air conditioning plants

Albini Energia has modernised the air conditioning systems in the weaving and preparation departments of the customer company.
After analysing the characteristics of the machines and the thermal load of the rooms, Albini Energia suggested inverterising the humidification pump and the axial fans.
Unlike conventional systems that handle a constant air flow, the innovative Albini Energia solution can handle a variable air flow which is regulated according to the temperature and humidity in the environment.
The solutions adopted have optimised the energy efficiency of the plant permitting the customer to obtain 589 Energy Efficiency Credits (EEC) per year and save €87,000 in electricity. The payback time for the investment is 3 years.
