Recovery of heat energy from the textile washing plant’s wastewater
After performing a detailed energy audit, Albini Energia intervened on the customer’s textile washing production line by installing a self-cleaning heat exchanger.
The proposed solution recovers heat energy from the hot wastewater from the plant, cools it (from 80°C to 25°C), transfers it to the cold clean water flowing into the plant and heats it (from 15°C to 70°C). Thanks to the heat exchanger, steam produced by the thermal plant is not used with a saving of €13,500/year and a 6-year pay back.
Albini Energia worked step by step with the customer by developing the project, installing the machine and handling the procedure required to obtain 158 EECs/year.
